This feature enables the user to create an unlimited number of photo albums and add up to 48 photos to each album. The system will automatically resize the uploaded photos to a standard size to fit within the site design and will create a corresponding “thumbnail” image for display. The visitor can then click the thumbnail image to see the full size photo. A unique photo album feature is the “Slideshow” of an album. For visitors using Microsoft Internet Explorer, they can watch a fade-in/fade-out rotation of the complete album with the corresponding photo titles. For visitors using Netscape, the fade process is not supported but the images rotate through the album collection. Each night the system randomly selects thumbnail images from the available photo albums and creates “Around My Community” collections of three photos that are displayed throughout the site pages. This process adds to the site freshness by ensuring pages have some new/different content each day.
